The New Saturday Morning Cartoons

So the other day, I was actually up early enough to see what Saturday morning cartoons consist of nowadays... and I was absolutely shocked to find...Sonic X, TMNT, Lazy Town Mysteries, and Power Rangers RPM

10-12 years ago, you would have been able to watch the originals, the wonderful Saturday morning cartoons/shows that I had grown up on... which are now distorted into gimmicky, plotless, time fillers.

I watched a TMNT movie, in which the 80/90's Ninja Turtles came to their dimension for help... and the whole show seemed to just be a rip on how lame the old Turtles were... LIES! Just because the 80/90's Turtles were funny, and were actually entertaining, doesn't make them lame. What's lame is taking a great cartoon, and putting a serious spin on it... By injecting my Saturday morning heroes with steroids, and giving them stupid voices...

Sonic X isn't nearly as bad... but again it's too serious... and what's worse, is they have like 30 new characters... Knuckles wasn't even in the original series... now Sonic and Tails have like 20 seconds screen time. I'm semi-satisfied with their voices, anything was better than Tails' original voice.

Lazy Town Mysteries!!??? WHAAAT!?? Well, it has some of the original characters... new voices... and is animated in a very creepy manner. Of course nothing can beat the original animation and voices, so it's not very good.

Power Rangers RPM... I wouldn't even glance at this mess... the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers are the only real Power Rangers... you can put them in space, send them through time, put them in a jungle, turn them into ninjas.... it's not the same!

Now for the worst... There's a new Garfield cartoon... it's animated in that 3D crap that they're trying to slap on everything (The Back at the Barnyard cartoon, ARE YOU KIDDING ME, LAME!!!). The voices are horrible! Dave is the biggest casualty of them all... THE HORROR! The people doing this to these once great shows, need to be put on death row....
